The Advocate for Women

The empowerment of women is at the heart of Ange Éric Zabo Kouassi's humanitarian commitment.

Through her NGO, the Shékina Association, she has been traveling through cities and villages for nearly ten years, meeting with women to create income-generating activities, organize them, structure them, and, most importantly, coach them through personal development sessions.

Her mission: to strengthen the capacities of women in Côte d'Ivoire so that they become key drivers of change.

Ange Éric has already led numerous projects with hundreds of women in the areas of:

  • Agriculture,

  • Creation of income-generating activities (IGAs),

  • Microfinance,

  • Circular economy,

  • And many other innovative initiatives.

She sums it up with this strong belief:

"An empowered woman means children growing up healthily, and it’s an Africa that wins."
